Schaaf-GmbH appoints Project Sales Corp as its agent in India

PRLog (Press Release) – Sep 12, 2006 – Project Sales Corp, Visakhapatnam has been appointed agents for M/s. Schaaf-GmbH in India.

Founded in Erkelenz in 1977, SCHAAF develops and manufactures products in the field of hydraulic high pressure tools and high pressure generators. First use of this technology goes back to developments undertaken in the fifties, by Mr Martin Schaaf, the founder of the company. At that time, he developed hydraulic Bolt Tensioners to avoid the irregularities when tightening bolt connections at valve heads of piston pumps by hand.

Further developments were brought to market maturity and lead to various patents in the area of axial pre-tensioning. In 1990, Mr Ralf Koellges, his colleague and assistant for many years, took over the company.
Today, a team of highly qualified technicians is continuously broadening the range of the companys’ activities by improving existing equipment and turning new developments into innovative products.

Hydraulic pressures up to 6000 bar can be used for tensioning purposes, due to specially developed seal designs, the use of innovative materials, combinations thereof and up to date electric and hydraulic control techniques.
