Whilst it’s always gratifying when one of the most well known companies in the world chooses to place an order with you, it is perhaps an even greater thrill when a national institution does likewise. But when that institution is a British Embassy hidden away in a far away land, although not quite being By Royal Appointment, it is nevertheless, pretty close!
UK based team building, motivational activities and event management specialists Fresh Tracks were contacted by the British Embassy to see if they could devise a programme to help foster an improved team spirit for their office in Dubai and despite having to travel somewhere in the region of seven thousand miles for the round trip, they were happy to be on-hand.
Devising a tailor made programme which boasted a range of activities including a presentational video, team juggling and even asking participants to devise a way of preventing an egg from breaking when dropped from a height of ten feet using just drinking straws and sticky tape, the day long session appears to have been both constructive as well as popular.
As a British Embassy spokesperson was happy to report: ‘Our expectations were for the session to help bring the team closer together and look at alternative ways of looking at how we work together. The session certainly met this expectation. It has helped us look at alternative ways of approaching work and has also injected a bit of fun and humour in the office. We will be happy to work with Fresh Tracks again’.
