HOLLYWOOD, CA – September 5, 2006 – With an ever-growing fan base six times larger than her competitor’s, TalentJaM artist, Michelle Andria, handedly beat her adversary and advanced to the second qualifying round of NBC’s ‘Star Tomorrow.’ “I had a rush of joy hearing how many fans and friends started their own promotional campaigns to get people to vote for me,” says Michelle. “I’m the type who never forgets those who helped me along the way, and the hours of dedication they spent have completely touched my heart. Michelle gives credit for her ingenius musical arrangements to a young, up’n’coming, musical prodigy: Colby O (who’s worked with the likes of Justin Timberlake and Silk the Shocker.) They’ve seen me at my highs and lows, during heartbreak, even through financial hardships.” She continues, “Having to decide whether I should spend my money on school or choose studio recording is an excruciating choice. Thank God, they’ve been very patient with me.”
Recent coverage from several media outlets, including the Los Angeles Daily Journal, Valley News, and KFAI Radio, has helped increase Miss Andria’s exposure even more, but even before aggressively pursuing her Star Tomorrow promotional campaign, Michelle was already receiving orders for her CD from fans all over the globe, such as the Philippines, Japan, England, Germany, and even the Persian Gulf. “I didn’t really plan on selling my CD’s,” confesses Miss Andria. “I just wanted to make a demo to get a record deal.” Her first CD received a rave review from VH-1 “Song of the Year,” stating her talent as “Outstanding with Strong Marketability ,“ judging her vocals a 9 out of 10.
