These two titles join three established titles: Anti-Corrosion Methods and Materials; Aircraft Engineering and Aerospace Technology, and Industrial Lubrication and Tribology which were accepted into ISI a number of years ago.
Cathy Mostyn, Business Development Director at Emerald adds, “We are delighted that our entire range of materials science titles is now indexed by ISI. We are increasingly attracting leading authors which adds to the appeal of our journals, and we have a close relationship with our customers through initiatives such as our Advisory Boards so we appreciate how important ISI statistics and usage statistics are to our users.”
ISI’s editorial staff review nearly 2,000 new journal titles annually, but only 10-12% of the journals evaluated are selected. Existing journal coverage in ISI products is also constantly under review and journals are monitored to ensure that they maintain high standards and a clear relevance to the ISI products in which they are covered .
