118trades opens Sales support centre in Harlow
Daniel Corby, founder and CEO of 118trades the fast growing internet directory service provider has opened a sales support centre in Harlow to service and support the sales team based in Essex and Salt Lake City, India.
Speaking about the announcement, Daniel Corby said “118trades has and continues to grow very rapidly and it is right that we invest in back office operations to support the growing customer base. 118 trades has in excess of 45,000 customers and the sales support centre at Harlow will support this customer base and the sales team along with accounting and back office support”
118trades has massive growth plans for the coming year and is planning an AIM floatation, which could happen as early as 2007 / 2008 – the funds raised will support further acquisitions that fit the profile of the group. 118trade is part of the wider 118 group, founded by Daniel Corby in 2005; the group now takes in interests in Advertising, Directories, Mobile, Publishing and Telecoms. Two high profile board appointments have been made this quarter, which include Richard Allan, the former CEO of Perry Group plc and Hugh Craen, the founder and former CEO of Potential Finance Group plc.
Daniel Corby added “Both Richard Allan and Hugh Craen both bring a massive knowledge base to the Group ahead of our planned float and join Myself and Bradley Chapman on the main 118 Group board. Bradley Chapman joined the board in June 2005, from Zenith Conservatories and Office Depot”
