Seavus Announces The Release Of The New Seavus Project Viewer Plug-ins

PRLog (Press Release) – Aug 25, 2006 – In the last couple of months, the Seavus Project Viewer Team has been working very hard to improve the functionality of the product and we are pleased to announce the launch of the following plug-ins:

1.   Microsoft Outlook

The integration between Microsoft Outlook and Seavus Project Viewer enable users such as team members, executives and external project stakeholders to have a consolidated view over all of their project tasks and more effective control over the progress of each project.

2.   Microsoft Excel

Seavus Project Viewer enable users to import project plan information in .xls format (.xls is native format of Microsoft® Excel) exported from Microsoft® Project. All project information that project manager has entered in the project plan and than convert it into .xls format, Seavus Project Viewer will be able to reproduce them in the same way as they are created in Microsoft® Project.
In addition, users will receive a Microsoft® Excel template, where they will enter the information for the project plan. This feature allows Project Managers to quickly create project plans in Microsoft® Excel and Seavus Project Viewer will then be able to import them and provide users with the ability to see all the views created by the Project Manager.
Seavus Project Viewer is a standalone desktop application for opening/viewing/printing Microsoft Project® files (.mpp).  It is a fully functional, robust and high quality Viewer which has been specifically designed and developed with a consistent Microsoft Project® look and feel to insure that all Seavus Project Viewer Users will have a minimal learning curve and an enriched User experience.
