118 GROUP INSTRUCTS FLYING SAUCER TO DEVELOP 118MOBILE BRAND
Fast growing Chelmsford based 118 Group has instructed Flying Saucer, it’s design agency based in Norwich, UK to develop the branding and creative for the new startup subsidiary, 118mobile.
Speaking about the announcement, Daniel Corby, ceo and founder said “we have worked with flying saucer for around 18 months now, and they helped to create the brand for 118 trades, 118 telecom and 118 gethitched. We have been happy with their creative and have now asked them to create the brand and identity for 118mobile and CarAuto, the newly acquired business which will re-launch in 2007. 118 mobile will target the sme sector and will operate from a new call centre based in Chelmer Village, Chelmsford and will launch in October 2006. 118mobile will connect business consumers to the 3g network and operate through outbound telesales calls and expects to be a major connector in the b2b sector within the next 18 months. We have chosen to work with one of the UK’s leading fulfilment houses, so essentially we will sell and connect users to the network but never touch a phone!
I believe that we can really exploit cross sell opportunities across our other businesses and that 118mobile will be a brand to deliver on its promises”
