State Securities – a key player in the world of asset finance - has chosen the Wright Business Centre at Queenslie, Glasgow for its first Scottish base.
The company which specialises in machinery and vehicle finance, commercial mortgages, factoring and refinancing has been expanding across the UK with its business reaching record levels.
The stylish and spacious Wright Business Centre was opened earlier this year by Gem Workspaces Limited, a community owned enterprise that aims to boost economic activity in the city’s east end.
Manager of the Wright Business Centre, John Russell said: “We have invested heavily in providing the kind of accommodation that will attract companies of the highest calibre to this part of the M8 corridor and it’s great to see that strategy bearing fruit.”
Commenting on the opening of the new Scottish office, State Securities’ Scottish Account Manager Dave Williams said: “I’m delighted with these new premises. Ideally based in the central belt, they reflect our growth and development in the asset based lending market in Scotland. They also provide us with a permanent location from which we can better service and support all our new and existing customers, intermediaries and professional contacts in Scotland. For us, it is the perfect place to grow our team.”
The announcement by State Securities comes in the same week as another Wright Business Centre tenant announced further expansion. Mibis Solutions Ltd, a computer software and consultancy firm, has taken on additional staff to cope with demand in the telecommunications market for its innovative products.
