The six finalists battle over the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to leave the earth and their worries behind. One lucky winner will be fitted with wings and dropped from an airplane. Barbara Blumenthal-Ehrlich's play HITTING THE WALL premiered at the 2006 Summer Play Festival. She has won the Clauder Award for Playwriting Excellence and was a finalist for the Heideman Award, Princess Grace Award, and at Sundance Playwriting Lab.
