From their new location in Calgary, Alberta, Palabras Press, formerly of Peterborough, ON, has just released two new books of poetry by Poet Margot Van Sluytman: somewhere beyond: poems dancing with godde, god, pilgrimage, and pulsating love, and conjurer: the magic knows.
In both of these books, Van Sluytman explores the theme of spirituality as it relates to the feminine voice and to love in all of it varied forms. Like C.S. Lewis', The Four Loves, these books participate in dialogue that asks and responds to who we are in relation to who, how, why, we love. Unlike C.S. Lewis', books, Van Sluytman's poetry paints images and uses metaphor to shed light on her themes as she blasts open tightly shut doors with new ways of seeing, new ways of thinking and feeling about love and godde and magic.
Both of these books are available from, www.Palabras-

Soul Speak: an interview with Margot Van Sluytman
Margot is a self-supporting poet, workshop leader and publisher. She is passionately outspoken about the need to listen deeply to one's soul. To dig deeply for what really matters to you. Talking with her filled me with courage and inspiration.
