They reach out to a large proportion of the population and cater to customer convenience and satisfaction with services like telephone ordering and home delivery.

However supermarkets are increasingly gearing up to capture the customer attention with a range of addendum, especially imported products. So it’s possible to find cheese made in Switzerland or biscuits made in Thailand or even fruits and vegetables, say apples grown in New Zealand.
